In centro a Tucson si trovano pezzi di terreno completamente selvaggi: strade sterrate, con cactus, cespugli, qualche ocotillo. Discreto tramonto a NW di Tucson. Posto nuovo, in mezzo alla citta' trovato mezzora prima con google maps.Beccare uno spiraglio senza fili della luce e' quasi impossibile in citta'.Non conoscendo il luogo trovo come soggetto solo questo Ocotillo, alto piu' di 3mt (Fouquieria Splendens) e decido di provare una HDR.Non male ma la tecnica HDR ancora non mi convince.Canon 5D, 17-40 a 17mm e f18, 100

Chi ha detto che in Arizona fa sempre caldo?5 febbraio 2008, sulla cima di Mount Graham, 3200 mt di quota.Questa mattina ci sono -13 gradi e non sono attrezzato per l'uscita. Ottanta miglia a est di Flagstaff si trova il Petrified Forest National Park. Il paesaggio e' incantevole.Dopo poche miglia ecco che, come per magia, cominciano ad apparire sul terreno grossi blocchi marroni/rosati.
